Mitey Creative!
A Mite-y Lady, Marlys Rustman of Rocky Mountain District, greeted attendees to the LWML Convention in Portland, Oregon and shared her enthusiasm for collecting mites. Since November she has dressed up once a month in her Mite Box outfit including her “Mite Box hat and earrings,” and collected mites from the members of her congregation in Colorado Springs. They have collected over $1200, and this is her effort to encourage others to be creative as they, too, collect mites within their church.
