Give Thanks to the Lord!

Make His Deeds Known Among the People!

Matthew 25:40 

O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name, make known His deeds among the peoples! - I Chronicles 16:8

We are entering the season of giving thanks and giving gifts.  How will you celebrate in the next two months?  How can you – how can I – make His deeds know among the people?  Will others be able to know that I am thankful for what I have – for them – for being a child of God? 

Do you have a crazy, busy schedule, too?  Business appointments lined up for weeks?  Children’s activities to run to?  Holiday meals and baked goods to prepare?  Sunday School or day school programs to direct?  Deadlines? 

As we celebrate and go about our crazy, busy schedules; let us remember to rejoice in our gifts, in each other, and in our God.  Let us make time for one another, sit quietly at Jesus’ feet and listen to His Word, and let us love one another.  Let us sing and serve, give thanks and bless His Name!

Psalm 100:  A Psalm for the thank offering.  Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the lands!  Serve the Lord with gladness!  Come into His presence with singing!  Know that the LORD is God!  It is He that made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him.  Bless His Name!  For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures for ever, and His faithfulness to all generations.
